I have been looking forward to Thanksgiving this year, since my whole family would be there! Yes, everyone!! Of course, the only one we missed, was Braydon. We sure miss him! It was Thanksgiving 2 years ago, when he was with us all. But we managed to have an amazing day, and I am sure we all gave him thought throughout the day. The kids spent the morning before dinner making a fun nail/string craft.
Us girls, helped grandma put dinner together, made pies and enjoyed visiting with each other. It was fun to have Austin home from his mission for Thanksgiving and his adorable fiance was also with him. Her name is Kiah and they will be married in January! We ate dinner at 1 and it was delicious! Our favorites were the sweet potato casserole (with marshmallows and brown sugar) and the ham! And rolls, and pie, and mashed potatoes. Oh, who am I kidding, it was all wonderful.
After dinner, we did a fun sock exchange and book exchange party. It was a delight. And Nick got some of the coolest socks.....sandal socks!
We also sang Happy Birthday to Nick, whose Birthday was the next day. We had more than enough pie and cake to celebrate!
We got a quick group picture before everyone left, but of course it is already outdated since Natalie had her baby last week! A cute little boy named Liam.
