Early Mornings

We had another busy week of school and dance.  Tuesday is always busy, but Carson had pack meeting at 6 and then right after dance I went to New Beginnings in our ward to sing a song called "Press Forward, Press On".  It was a little crazy, but we made it everywhere we needed to be!

I have been getting up early before school to do my workouts and waking up the older two when I do.  I have them read or do homework while I workout.  It has been working really well.  After my workout we try and read at least one chapter of the Book of Mormon.  It seems to be working well for all of us!
I dropped the kids off at Ballroom Dance Wednesday and then I made a trip to Walmart.   I was so frustrated with their selection of things I needed, the dirtiness of the store, and the weird people (and animals the bring in the store) that are there.  So I packed the two babies back in the van and we went to smith's and I enjoyed the clean store, found everything I needed and even got a coupon for my next shopping trip!  I don't think I will grocery shop at walmart unless I really have to!
We did good having early mornings all week and Thursday night the McConkies came over to bring the wii for us to borrow for Kaylee's Birthday party.  We had a fun little karaoke session together.  We may have to do that more often, it was so fun!

Pizza Man

Alivia's Preschool had a field trip to the Pizza Man in North Ogden last Monday.  It was delicious!!  They each got to make their own breadsticks and pizza to take home.  We may have to try their pizza out sometime!

Just a couple of pics.  Preston playing with his tool toy and me posing with Livy and my new workout program I get to start soon!  The new Hammer and Chisel!  Should be a good one!

Even more skookies!

Last Saturday I took a break from my inside workouts and ventured out for a run since Nick was home.  It was wonderful in a hard way!  But it felt good!  I got home to find the kids have a picnic in the kitchen.  They spent the next two days having picnics several times.

That night we had the Jeppson's over for dinner and Kaylee had her friend Brighten over to play.  We had a fun evening and the girls were pretty clever and came up with their own photo booth props.  So funny!
Sunday we enjoyed church, choir practice, and then some more skookies with the McConkies.

A perfect end to a Sunday!Mor

Grandparent's Day

It was Grandparent's Day at the school last Thursday as part of the book fair.  Since our grandparents live a little too far away to come, I surprised the kids and met them for lunch.  Alivia was at a friends house and Preston tagged along.  That place was hoppin' with lots of grandparents!  It was so fun to see!  We had a blast having lunch with the kids!!

Speaking of lunch!  On Friday, Alivia, Preston and I met up with Dawn, Emily and Ryan at Arctic Circle in Layton.  It was fun to catch up and let the kids play.  We miss them so much!

Even though having these two crazy kids at home with me all day can drive me crazy, they are so fun and full of life!!  I sure love them more than I can even say!!!!

A day off from school!

We went in for Carson's annual eye exam on Human Right's day since they didn't have school that day.  When we got back home, Nick left with Alivia to go to a movie for her Preschool make up day.  They went and saw Norm of the North and had a great time!
I have been looking for curtains for awhile now for our big windows and finally found some online.  They came later that day and so we were able to get them hung up.  My friend, Jentry, gave me a long curtain rod that worked perfectly for them!  I love how they turned out!

That night we went to Pizza Pie Cafe as part of a modern woodman sponsored night, so we pretty much had free dinner!  Matt & Natalie met us there.  It was so busy but totally worth the wait since it was free!

Tuesday, we went to speech and they did benchmark testing on Livy and she is doing great!  On the word level she is fantastic, so now we just slowly need to work on phrases when it comes to her 's' and 'r' sounds.

I just had to share the picture of Carson falling asleep while reading, since he rarely reads as it is.  We are slowly doing better with our reading and I think I found a solution!  (See next post).
I have been posting a lot on FB about Beachbody and Shakeology, trying to push the business as a coach a little harder so I can make enough money to pay for my own monthly shakeology.  I love the workouts and the shakes so I would love to make it work!

Eat more Chickin!

The Chik-Fil-A in Ogden celebrated it's one year anniversary so we went and enjoyed some free chicken nuggets with the McConkies.  It was super busy but a lot of fun and we even got free meal cards to use again!

We had a girl's night last week and enjoyed some pedicures and then some dinner.  It was a wonderful night!  I have made some great friends here and I am so grateful for how nice they have been to me and my family.

When I got home that night, I found the kids all ready to sleep in the basement in the new rooms.

The past few Sundays, some of the primary kids on our ward have been going to practices for a Stake Children's Choir for the upcoming stake conference.  Carson & Kaylee were part of that too and as the Primary Chorister I was also there every time to be with the kids from our ward.  They are a great group of kids and I am so proud of them.
