We finally pulled into Jackson hole around 7 and were starving! After driving around trying to find an affordable and fast place to eat, we settled on some Chicken from Alberston's! We found a table out front and it worked out perfect! It made for a fun adventure. We can't wait to go back and spend more time there! We made it back in time to watch some fireworks at camp. I sure love this country!

Yellowstone Day 2: Jenny's Lake
After Yellowstone, we headed towards Jackson Hole and made a few stops on the way, that included Jenny's Lake. We drove through a fun little rain storm, which was nice since it helped cool things off a bit. Jenny's lake was so pretty, but we didn't have a lot of time to stay and do anything. So that is now on our list of things to go see again soon!
Yellowstone Day 2: Yellowstone Lake
After seeing Old Faithful, we made our way to Yellowstone Lake and walked around. Again, more beautiful wonders that blew us all away. We joked that Preston's clothes matched some of the landscaping! Haha! It was just beautiful!!! We did a lot of driving and at one point, pretty much everyone was asleep! It was pretty funny. I guess when you cram 3 days of sightseeing into 1, that is bound to happen.
Yellowstone Day 2: Old Faithful
The main thing we wanted to see was Old Faithful! We drove through Island Park, into West Yellowstone and easily got into the park by buying our annual park pass online. It was busy, but not as busy as I was expecting for the 4th of July, so that was nice. We stopped at some small hot pot areas before making our way to Old Faithful. We enjoyed a picnic lunch while we waited for Old Faithful to go off. It was pretty cool and the kids were impressed. We walked around and saw some more geysers and hot pots, and it was mind blowing! The weather was nice and it was pretty warm, so after we walked around, we stopped at the gift shop and found some ice cream before heading to the next part of Yellowstone!
Yellowstone Day 2: Mesa Upper Falls
We made our way up to the Mesa Upper Falls and were in AWE!!! I could have sat there all day and watched the water fall if it wasn't for the mosquitoes eating us alive. I felt like we were in a whole different part of the world. It was a great way to start our day!
