Christmas Day 2019

It finally was here!  Christmas Morning!  The kids all slept in Kaylee's room.  Alivia somehow fell off the bed and landed on Kaylee, getting a black eye in the process.  They woke up just before 6 and begged to go upstairs.  We finally let them up and they were so excited to see what Santa brought them!

The kids got spoiled!  Preston and Alivia got new scooters and an Osmo system!  The older kids got a minky blanket, Carson & Kaylee got airpods and Carson got lots of games for his Nintendo Switch.  Kaylee got a chair for her new room and some art stuff.

I was so excited to get a robot vacuum for Christmas!

My parents came for lunch (Ham and Sweet Potato Casserole).  They also played some games with us before heading to Chris & Matt's house!

Overall, Christmas was a great day!  We made a big mess and it was all worth it! Merry Christmas

Christmas Eve 2019

It wasn't Christmas Eve, but we did get to watch a Live Nativity on Monday night, the 23rd.  We met up with some friends there, the Campbells and Nelsens.  It was kind of neat!  The next day, after a bit of work on the basement, we decided to take the kids ice skating.  Kaylee and Alivia were begging us to go, so we went!  It was a lot of fun, the only hard part was when Preston got a blister, but overall he did great!  We got home and decided to make conference cakes for dinner....but named them Christmas Cakes and added red sprinkles!  It was so festive!

The kids opened up new PJ's for Christmas and we got them to bed at an early time.  They were more than happy to go to bed early so they could have Christmas come even sooner!  Having kids makes Christmas so much fun!

Parent's Performance and Sing-A-Long

On Thursday, all of the grades were able to perform for the parents.  Even the bells got to perform.  On Friday, we had the school sing-a-long, which is always epic!  I was asked to be in charge of it, and so I recruited Melissa and Lori to help me.  We played named that Song!  And it turned out great!  We were all so excited to have early out that day and get a head start on our Christmas Vacation!

After school, the kids had dance and got to play with friends.  That night Alivia had a birthday party and Preston just wanted to stay home, so we took the other two kids to get some ice cream!  Yum!

Performance Academy Christmas Recital 2019

On Thursday, December 19th, we had our recital at Fremont High School.  My students did great!  It is always so fun to see the girls do what they have worked so hard for.  It was a great recital!

Class Parties!

Tuesday, the 17th, I was at the school dropping off food for a faculty lunch the aides were in charge of, and I was able to see Kaylee visiting some classes as a Peer Leader.  They were singing carols and handing out candy canes.

That day at dance, we had class parties and celebrated the last class of 2019!  It was a lot of fun and makes my job so rewarding to get to do such fun things like that!

I got the cutest slippers and gifts from students that day.  It didn't take long for Kaylee to steal them from me!  Haha!
