Founder's Day Parade!

We have been getting all ready for the Founder's Day Parade for a few weeks now.  Between lining up the truck and trailer and finding a sound system and painting banners, it has been a lot of work!  But it was so worth it!!!  Friday evening, Matt & Natalie's family came over for dinner and we grilled some yummy lime chicken.  Natalie took Matt & Nick to the airport since they flew to Canada to pick up new suburbans for Matt & Natalie and drive them home the next day.  So I kept Hallie & Gracie with me and they had a fun sleepover!  They were so giggly!!  Which reminded me of when I would go to my grandma's house and have sleepovers with my cousins.  My grandma would tell us she would give a candy bar to the first one to fall asleep!
I got up early the next morning and dropped my van off at our ending pickup location at the church and then jogged/walked home for my workout that day.  We got the trailer all put together and took it down to the beginning of the parade and got the balloons and banners put on just in time for the girls to get on and get ready to perform!!

It was so much fun and it turned out amazing using the big trailer!  The semi truck even coordinated with our costumes!!!  Preston loved riding on the trailer with me and did a great job waiving to everyone!

After the parade, we headed home for some Mac n' Cheese for lunch and then we made a yummy pasta salad to take with us to the Ostler's house where we were had been invited to a pool party!
