Last Monday, the three younger kids had checkups at the dentist and did great! No cavities, but we need to floss a lot more!
I have been trying to get the kids to do more than just want to play on the computers or tablets, so they got creative and tried making a movie and got out costumes and a backdrop. No video was ever made, but they had fun planning it and dressing up.
Monday afternoon we went and got a load of rocks to put in our front flowerbed and got a good amount of it covered, but had to get another load the next day to finish it. I think Nick and the kids just loved using the blue truck to get the rocks!
Monday evening, we had a fun movie night in the McConkies backyard. We watch Jumanji and it is so funny! It was fun, but a very late night. Poor Nick didn't get a lot of sleep this past week and that was just the start of it!
Carson has been going to Merit Badge classes at Ben Lomond HS all week and so we have been carpooling, and my kids like to pick up so we can have lunch there. I don't mind it either since it is less I have to clean up!
On Tuesday, after we picked up the boys we went to Costco for a contact fitting for Carson. So far he is doing great with the contacts. He is almost a pro at getting them in and out already! We did have to get another pair on Friday since one contact somehow didn't make it into the container overnight and dried out. Who knows what happened!?!?!
We also had our final dance classes on Tuesday and Wednesday and had yummy treats and did some fun Just Dance and Karaoke!
We also got in another swim day at Stacia's on Wednesday. Even more friends joined us and the kids had a blast again and did a better job getting sunscreen on!
I stayed up late on Wednesday painting signs for the parade trailer. With help from Krissy and a girl from our ward, Willow, we were able to come up with a font and inspiration to get it done!
