Park City Friday!

Nick didn't have to work over the weekend, so we got up with the intentions to have a super fun Friday, and that is just what we did.  I went on a run with Rachel that morning and then Nick went with Dad for a bike ride up city creek.  So that was a great way to start the day!  After lunch we headed to the zoo.  We haven't been since they new lion exhibit opened and the train was back up running.  We went with the Youngbergs to the zoo and enjoyed watching the bird show before we left.

After the zoo, we kept heading East to Park City to continue our day of fun with some bowling.  I purchased a groupon type voucher for some bowling, pizza, drinks, and cookies at Jupiter Bowl.  We bowled here almost two years ago and had a lot of fun so we were excited to go back.  In that 90 minutes we bowled 1 1/2 games.  With little kids, we just don't go very fast!  We ate our pizza while we bowled and enjoyed cookies for dessert.

After we got done bowling we drove up to the Olympic Park, but since they closed at 6, we weren't able to do any of the rides but we did get to watch kids practicing jumping into the pools.  We walked around and enjoyed the view from the hill looking into the valley.  It was a fun night!  We also called Grandma Karen to wish her a happy birthday before heading home.  When we got home, the kids had a movie night with Nick in the trailer and then stayed in the trailer overnight with him.  I love having days like this when we do a lot of playing!  I hope to get a few more in like this before school starts!
