We had another fun and busy week! We had piano lessons M, T, and Wed. Thursday, the kids had choir and then we all went to the ward Christmas party. I took some roasted Rosemary Potatoes to add to the ham, rolls, and salad that was provided. It was a fun evening to get to visit with friends and neighbors. The theme was "Polar Express". The kids had a blast and we even got to enjoy some hot cocoa with our dinner.
Friday, Uncle Chris was nice enough to come and babysit while Nick and I did some Christmas shopping. So after Kaylee was done with her dance rehearsal, we headed out shopping. I have done most of it online, but we still needed to get a few things at the store. It was so nice to do some shopping without any kids! Saturday morning, Nick worked a few hours, but was home in time to take the three oldest kids to the Lowe's Build and Grow clinic at 10. They build cute candy choo choo trains. They were made of wood, but had scratch and sniff stickers to go on them. Nick said they did really good building. When they got home, we got ready to have some family over for lunch. My sister Tiffany came in from Reno with her husband and two friends she works with, Nicole and Laura. They came to attend the Motab Concert that night. We also had tickets, so the plan was to take Carson with me, while Nick stayed home with the younger kids. So we all got together and my mom supplied pizza. It was super fun! After pizza, we did play a little knock your neighbor before they had to leave back to downtown. Nick and I then took the kids to the elementary school to see Santa. But after waiting in line and almost being to the front, Carson and I had to take off to meet up with my family for dinner. So Nick stayed so the younger three could see Santa. They got bags of goodies and then enjoyed dinner at McDonalds. They had fun while we were at the concert (post to come). Another fun busy Saturday celebrating with family! Love it!
