Even though we had moved out of our ward on the 8th, we still went to the ward campout that weekend on the 12th and 13th. We would have probably gone no matter where it was held, but as luck would have it, they held it at Crystal Hot Springs (only 10 min away from Tremonton) so it made it that much easier to go! We went up Friday evening around 5 after Nick got home from work and the kids got to make paper rockets while we waited for dinner to start at 7. The rockets were a hit with the kids. Nick helped them launch them and they did that for about 2 hours straight.
It was so fun seeing all of our friends there. Kaylee was happy to see Ryan and spent most of the evening lugging him around with her. It was adorable.
After dinner, Nick headed home to go to bed since he had to work the next day, and that is also when Karaoke started. The bishopric started it off with "Happy" and then the Primary workers did "Shake it Off" with me singing lead vocals. It was hilarious!! We had scout leaders in tutus, teachers in masks and hats and feather boas. It was a lot of fun and the kids even joined in at the end and had a blast.

After the show we made smore's and visited before heading back to my mom's house for the night. The perk of being so close! I promised the kids we would go back for breakfast the next morning, so we got up early and I took the two older kids with me and we ate yummy pancakes, eggs, and bacon. For some reason, pancakes taste so much better on a grill when you are camping then just at home on the griddle. We visited for a bit before heading back home. It was such a fun time and it was so sad to leave and know we wouldn't be seeing our friends every week at church or during the week. It was sooooo sad. But I am glad that we at least had this last chance to enjoy our ward family. Loved every minute of it. As a bonus, Carson's friend Luke was able to come home with us and play for a few hours before we headed back to Woods Cross for a party we had been invited to and took him home. The boys had a blast and it was good for both of them to get a little more time together. They have been good friends since they were born and so it is another sad part about leaving. I have to keep telling myself this whole move will be worth it and we will find more friends and have just as good of a ward! Let's hope that is what happens!
