Weekend Fun with Family!

Friday morning I was able to get in a run before the kids all woke up.  I have slowly started getting back to running more often to see if my knees and legs will handle it and so far it is going good.  They feel great and I was able to get my fastest pace since redrock last fall.  I ran 3.14 miles in 28:50, avg about a 9:15 mile.  It was an early out day so me and the kids made a grocery run to walmart before date night for Nick and I.  We went to Texas Road House and then saw Pitch Perfect 2.  It wasn't as good as the first, but it was still a fun movie.  Saturday, Nick worked and so we just hung around the house doing some chores.  We did enjoy having my sister Marisa and her family over for lunch.  They were in Utah for Madison's soccer tournament in Layton.  We got to see them for a few hours before they headed to a movie and another soccer game.

After Nick got home from work, we loaded up the trailer to take some outside stuff to my mom's house.  We stopped by the house on our way up and noticed they had gotten the garage walls up.  We were hoping to see the roof on since that is what we were told they were going to do on Friday.  It seems like it is taking forever!  But maybe that is because we are so excited to have it done.

We made it to Tremonton and Nick unloaded the trailer while I went to the natatorium and registered the kids for swim lessons.  All four kids will be able to do lessons at the same time for two weeks in June.  I think they will all really like it.  We then had pizza for dinner with my mom and Braydon, who had helped my mom earlier in the day with Tiffany's rental house she is selling.  My dad made it home from work later and we got to say hi to him for just a bit.  We finally headed home around 9:00, so it was a late night getting everyone into bed.  Then it was up early for church on Sunday.  It was a good day at church, followed by meetings and choir practice for me.  Papa and Uncle Ryan came up with the big trailer to load up Nick's ratrod and some other things that needed to go to the farm for storage.  It was fun having them there for a bit.  We also got some more things packed up a bit so we could take a load on Monday since it was a holiday.  Overall it was a fun weekend simply because we got to spend time with family!
