Preston's Birthday!

We had such a fun day Saturday, celebrating Preston's Birthday.  We got up and all went into his room and sang him Happy Birthday when he finally got up Saturday morning, which was around 8, so he even got to sleep in on his Birthday.  He had his favorite scrambled eggs for breakfast and I got started on putting his cake together.  It was my first time decorating a cake with fondant.  It was tricky but I was happy with how it turned out.
(Carson and Kaylee took pictures of my making the cake....they were hilarious!)

While I finished the cake, Preston took a nap, and Nick took the older three kids to get a flu shot at the pediatricians office.  They were doing a flu clinic so it made it really easy since we didn't have to have an appointment.  I didn't have Nick take Preston since he was getting his Monday on his well visit.  He ran a few more errands for me and then we had a simple lunch before heading to Luke's Baptism.  Luke and Carson have been friends since they have been born and it was so neat to go to his baptism.
After the baptism we enjoyed ice cream Sundays at the Yospe's.  Preston also enjoyed the rice krispies.

Saturday evening, we had a Hot Dog party for Preston's Birthday.  Gma & Gpa Brower came along with some good friends, Garaycochea's, Nelsons, Yospe's, Burnett's, and the Hansens.  We are so thankful for such good friends!!

He wasn't sure what to do about the cake, but did try a little bit.  He didn't hardly make a mess!  I put him in his high chair to see if he would eat any more, but didn't really seem to interested.

We had fun helping him open presents.  Gma Brower made him a cute puppy blanket, and he got some toys and cute clothes as well.  He has loved playing with them the past few days.  It was such a great day!
