Happy St. Patty's Day!

We found a great storage closet that would work great in the laundry room until we get some more permanent shelves and cupboards.  It is so nice having the washer and dryer in a bigger room!!

We had a fun St. Patrick's day on Friday!  I stopped by Alivia's classroom as they were finishing up a class party.  She looked cute!

That night, Nick and I went to a Stake Adult Social.  It was fun to see some friends there like Connie & Michelle and their husbands!

Carson did scouting for food that Saturday and loved wearing his uniform to do so.

She almost gave me a heart attack!

Just some random cute pictures of daily life here at the Bennett Household!

 Speech with Preston...

Carson got an Excellent rating at the District Science fair!  Such a cute kid!
Cute note from Kaylee and we celebrated Pi Day with chocolate pie!

We met up with Kimberly on a Thursday in Layton to buy some hairspray and say hi!
On the way home, I got a frantic call from my dad that my mom thought she was having a heart attack and that her school's secretary drove her to the hospital.  After a few phone calls, I dropped Preston & Livy off to Carolee and headed to Tremonton where they actually took her to her doctor's office.  Dr. Merrill has been her doctor forever and was able to check her out and they did an EKG to make sure her heart was ok.  She had really high blood pressure and what she was experiencing was symptoms of high blood pressure.  She was prescribed a Rx and went home and spent the next few days resting.  She seems to be doing better now, but it was a little scary to think something more serious could happen.

We love my mom so much and would  like to keep her around for a lot longer!!!!

Girls Day at the Aquarium!

I grabbed this quick picture of Carson and Alivia when Nick checked Carson out of school a little early to head to Holden for the weekend to help his mom & dad.  SO cute!  On a Saturday afternoon, since it was just us girls, we went to the Aquarium with Nicole, Brighten and Teagan.  It was a fun afternoon, including lunch at Zupas!

The boys got home early Sunday before church so they could listen to me and my friends sing "Oh How Lovely was the Morning" in our ward.  (March 12th, Me, Katie Toole, Aubrey Obrey, Melissa & Connie.)
After church, the kids thought it was warm enough to hold FHE outside...but that didn't last long, because it was still pretty chilly!

I cam across this picture on FB that was posted by my cousin Melanie.  This was probably 1987!  At my grandpa's grave in Morgan.  What a blast from the past!

Mom's Birthday!

I had such a great birthday!  I turned 36!  I had a busy Wednesday full of teaching music in 6th grade and kindergarten, piano lessons, and a fun evening with my family.  My wonderful mom brought us dinner and party favors.  It was so fun!

Wacky Wednesday, Storytelling, and more!

Let me get you caught up to what has been going on in our life!  It has been so fun and busy, I haven't had time to sit down and blog for over a month!  So I will just summarize....first, Preston had Wacky Wednesday at preschool to celebrate Dr. Seuss's Birthday.  So backwards shirt, wrong socks and different shoes made it all work!
I snapped this quick picture on our way into Alivia's class to do Music.  They were just finishing PE.  And yes, Preston was still dressed crazy!
That night, Kaylee had been invited to tell her Story "Falling for Repunzel" at the Weber School Board meeting.  She did fantastic and was one of only two kids invited to tell their story.  We were so proud of her!

We stopped at Home Depot on the way home to look at tile for the new laundry room and she made me laugh when I took a picture of these foam camping pads.  It happens almost every Sunday, Preston will fall asleep on my lap during Sacrament meeting, which I don't mind since it makes it a lot quieter that way.

Carson has been such a big help to Nick on finishing the laundry room and even cut tile for him one night while they were tiling the floor.  Performance Academy is going great and I am pleased with how well the girls are doing!
