Did someone say Chocolate Fountain???

We had the best time with Gma & Papa when they came up for Kaylee's baptism last week.  They came up on Friday and had the three cousins with them.  They treated us to Golden Coral for dinner and it was delicious!  The kids had a blast getting to pick whatever they wanted to eat.  They did eat SOME regular food before devouring everything at the dessert section.  I will say the chocolate fountain was amazing and I hope we get to go back soon!

We had a fun easy going morning on Saturday.  We made Kaylee's dress cake, straightened the house up, with some help from the kids, and got it all ready for the big day!  Karen was so amazing and did so much to help us get ready.  I don't know what I would have done without her!

One Week

One week.  That is all I had between Kaylee's party and her baptism and it wasn't a slow easy week.  We still had dance, scouts, ballroom, doctor appointments, and more!  But it was a good week and sometimes when it is busy it makes it even easier to get things done since I know we don't have a lot of time to waste!  Dance has been going pretty good and the girls are all just so adorable!  We have been invited to dance at Disneyland in June and so Kaylee and I get to go and we are both so excited!

I have still been doing 21 Day Fix and working hard on the business end of Beachbody.  I love having shakeology, but since it is a bit pricey, it is worth it to me to work the business end so I can afford my own shakes!
I also tried some new online shopping through fabletics and scored this new jacket for a pretty good deal and I love it!  I have been living in my yoga pants, lulu lemon pants, and my athletic jackets this winter.  I rarely wear levi pants unless I really have to!  It is bad, but oh so comfy!

I procrastinated a bit, but I finally got Kaylee's baptism towel done in time for her baptism.  It turned out super cute with the fabric she picked!  The kids had worked hard all week with reading and homework, so they enjoyed some time outside playing.  It has been a little smoggy, but it is slowly warming up and becoming more like spring.

Kaylee Turns 8!!!!

We had such a fun Saturday celebrating Kaylee's Birthday.  She turned 8 on January 30!  We got up that morning and did a few errands before finally letting her open up presents from us and grandma.  She also got a journal and candy bar from the Pugmires!  She was pretty spoiled!

We had a stake children's choir practice at noon until 2.  Then we came home and got ready for her party.  We spent a lot of time trying to decide what to do for her birthday, but we finally came up with the idea for a pajama party!  We invited girls from church, school and a few friends from Woods Cross.  It was a blast!  We started out by making our own kool aid lip gloss.  Then we had pizza and then enjoyed some face masks and cucumbers.  We then partied it up with some Just Dance and Jamberry nails.  We had made Kaylee an ice cream cake using ice cream sandwiches, smashed oreo cookies and cool whip.  It tasted a lot better than it looked!

Kaylee had some cute friends at the party.  Eowyn, Makenna, Annie, Gracie, Tallyn, Julianna, Sara, Ruby, and Naomi were just the cutest!!!

It was such a fun party and I wouldn't have been able to pull it off without the help of some great friends.  Rachel was amazing and came up from Woods Cross to not only bring Makenna and Gracie, but also to help me out.  Then of course my partner in crime, Brittany, was also there and was absolutely amazing!!  I am so lucky to have such good friends!

Kaylee's Pre-Birthday

Since Kaylee's Birthday was on a Saturday this year, she got to celebrate it on Friday, the 29th.  She wore her Happy Birthday to Me shirt to school. (I found it on sale about 6 months ago and we have just kept it tucked away in her closet for this very day!)  I surprised her at lunch with some balloons and a twix bar and had lunch with her.  She LOVED it!  She loves being the center of attention!  It was a lot of fun!  Brittany M. watched Preston and Livy for me so I could go.  While I was there, Carson came in early to serve for the 5th grade.  He looked so cute in his hair net and apron!  He loves serving lunch though and would do it every day if they let him!

After school, Grandma Joy came and picked up Kaylee for a night out for her birthday.  They went to Brigham and got pedicures and then had dinner at Wendy's.  While they were gone we made a quick trip to Costco and then came home and tried out a new game on the wii we had borrowed.  It was a fun night and Kaylee got spoiled by grandma!
