Preston's Party

I woke up Sunday to the older kids blowing up balloons for Preston's Birthday.  They were so excited to put up decorations and sing happy birthday to him first thing in the morning.  I had Ward Council that morning, but before I left I was able to watch the kids celebrate with Preston.  He was so excited to see that all of it was for him.
When I got home from my meeting, Carson and Preston helped me bake the cake for his Party later that evening.  He especially loved licking the beaters and making the pudding to go on top.

Grandma Karen came and was able to come to church with us and spend a bit of time with the birthday boy! The kids always love when Grandma comes!

After church my family came for dinner.  Mom, Dad, Matt's family and Chris & Krissy were there.  We had lasagna for dinner and of course the yummy cake for dessert.

He loved opening his presents.  He got a few new hats, a tonka truck and a stomp rocket.

We sang happy birthday about 3 times since Kaylee insisted that she play the piano for it (It was her song for that week) and then wanted to watch him blow at the candle.  It was such a fun day celebrating Preston's Birthday!

Saturday Party, Pizza, and Movie Night

It was rainy Saturday morning, so Nick spent most of the morning finishing the basement closet and putting in the shelves.  I am so happy with how it turned out.  I don't know why we didn't put this in when we finished the basement, but I am sure glad we put it in now.  I can't wait to clean out closets and get some more things organized.
After lunch we headed to Ogden for Hallie's 5th Birthday Party.  Preston had a good nap on the way.
It was a Frozen theme complete with a bounce house and yummy food.  The kids had a blast!

We picked up a pizza at Costco on our way home for dinner and also a redbox.  The kids picked a Wizard of Oz show.  Nick went to the Pink Floyd concert so the kids and I enjoyed a movie night.  I tried to watch Womens Conference but didn't watch as much as I would have liked, but I had a really fun evening with the kids!

Pie Fight

Last Friday, the kids got to watch their teachers have a pie fight at school.  They reached one of their fundraising goals and so as a reward, the PTA put on a pie fight.  The kids loved it!!  I went as the official photographer.  It was a lot of fun and the weather was perfect.  I was glad I was just taking pictures and not making the whipped cream pies since the PTA ladies got a bit of the action too!

This is MaryJo, Katie, Cassandra, and Kim, who I get to serve with on the board this year.  They are a bunch of great ladies!

Preston is TWO!!!

It was such a busy and fun day yesterday that I didn't have a chance to post these pictures of Preston.  I took these over a week ago while Alivia was in school up at Mueller Park.  He had a lot of fun playing around on the bridge but wasn't too interested in taking a lot of pictures, but I think I still got a few good shots showing his personality.  He is so handsome, and those beautiful brown eyes can really make me melt.  He is always on the go and loves to ride the wiggle cars.  He likes drinking out of a cup, eating cold hot dogs, and apples.  He can say lots of words like thank you, help me, thank you, drink, ice, and more.  He went to his 2 year wellness visit and weighs 24.2 lbs (9%) and is 34" tall (49%).  He is doing really well with all his milestones.  He is a very typical two year old that throws tantrums, can be a picky eater, and does a lot of whining.  But he also still takes naps, likes to give kisses, and loves to dance whenever he hears music.  It is my favorite thing about him!  He knows how to push my buttons, but I wouldn't trade him for the world!  We love you Preston!!
