And on another note....

We finally started building the shed!!!  Nick was able to get a good start on it Thursday while he was home.  I hope it won't take too much longer to get it all done.  It will be so nice to finally have a shed!!!
After the water party on Friday, we picked up some pizza hut pizza and headed to a park to play to celebrate the last day of school even more!  The kid had such a fun busy day!!!!  Uncle Matt had stopped by on his way to the airport so the kid showed him the shed and we played a bit in the backyard before heading to bed.
Preston was so funny that night and kept crawling into the tv stand.  He thought he was pretty cool that he could get in there.
Saturday, Nick worked, so we just stayed home and played.  I was able to get in a run with Lindsey thar morning.  I had a sitter come and stay with the kids.  It was SO hot though.  We decided the next time we run 8 miles or more we have to go earlier in the day!  When I got home the kids were ready to do some playing outside in the water.  They spent until lunchtime playing in the backyard in a small pool we have.  Then after lunch, the two older kids were invited next door to the Jacksons to swim in their pool.  It is not a HUGE pool, but is big enough to really swim in it.  The kids had a blast!!!!  After dad got home, we grilled hamburgers and had corn on the cob.  The kids wanted to sleep on the tramp or in the tent outside.  We eventually convinced them to sleep in the tent downstairs.  So that is what they did, even Alivia.  However, around midnight, Alivia woke up and must have not realized where she was and had a bit of a fit.  But it didn't take much for Nick to get her back to sleep in her own bed.

So far today, it has been a good Sunday.  I have been catching up on blogging.  We attended church and had fun playing "Sing or Dare" for singing time.  We made homemade pizza for dinner and now the kids are watching the old "Three Amigo's" on TV and Dad and Preston are napping.  Sounds like a good way to spend a Sunday!
