Preston's Preschool Easter Fun!

Just wanted to share the fun Preston has been having at Preschool for Easter!  They made the cutest Easter masks and buckets to collect their eggs in!  We love Teacher Brandi and will miss her so much next year!

Spring Break Painting

Nick and I headed home on Monday afternoon and left the kids in Holden to spend a few more das with everyone there.  It gave us a chance to paint Alivia and Preston's room.  We worked fast and hard and got it done just in time for them to come home Thursday.  Between the painting, Nick worked, I cleaned and organized, worked on choreography.  We painted a fun pattern on Alivia's wall and put up shiplap in Preston's room.  We also put up a new fan in his room.  We think it turned out great! And they were so surprised since they didn't know anything about it!!

Easter in Delta

We don't get to see Grandma Pace very often, so it was such a treat to get to spend Easter at her house and enjoy dinner with her.  The kids loved playing with their cousins.  After we had dinner, we took the kids out to see the Great Stone Face!  It was a good Sunday drive!  The kids loved hiking up to the top!!  The weather was perfect for it too!

Easter Sunday 2018

We got to Grandma's house in Holden just after lunchtime.  The kids played most of the afternoon and after making pizza for dinner, they colored Easter eggs.  They even got Grandma Pace in on the action.

Sunday morning the kids enjoyed getting their Easter baskets.  The girls got dresses, all the kids got flip flops, socks, and underwear.  They also got an art kit that is color by numbers, since they love the sandbox app on our phones that are similar to color by number.  We listened to morning conference before heading over to Delta for dinner at Grandma Pace's house.

Easter Hunt at Manor Care

Saturday morning, we met up with Grandpa Brower, who had Matt & Nat's girls, at Manor Care in South Ogden for an Easter Egg hunt.  It was awesome!  It wasn't crowded and they really had to HUNT for their eggs.  Each kid got a number and had to find the eggs with just that number on it.  It took them about 15 minutes to find all their eggs and then any left over eggs were up for grabs once everyone found their designated eggs.  They also had a handfull of golden eggs and 5 of the 7 kids ended up with one!  It was such a great egg hunt and the kids were thrilled!!!

The kids left with a bag of candy and toys and big smiles on their faces!  We left directly from the egg hunt and headed to Holden for the weekend.  It was a great way to start our Easter Weekend!  It was also General Conference so we did try our best to listen to conference on our drive to Holden, but the kids were pretty excited to finally watch a movie once the morning session was over and it did make the drive a bit quieter!

Spring Break is almost here!!!

The week before our spring break couldn't go fast enough!  They had class pictures Tuesday, we had choir, bells, dance, piano, tumbling, temple trips and all of our normal activities.  We got a jump start on our Spring break Friday with no school!  (Teacher comp day).  We met up with Dawn and her cute kiddos for lunch at McDonald's in Syracuse.  Then we met up with Nick at Costco on our way home and gave him all the kids but Kaylee so we could run a few more errands without them.  We decided to stop for a little snack of guacamole at Cafe Rio while we were out and about.  It is nice when I get to spend one on one time with the kids.  It was a great way to start our spring break that was the following week!

Also, just have to tell you on Thursday that week, I went to the temple and I was tempted to skip the week since I had a million things to do, including going grocery shopping.  I was planning on going after  lunch and knew I would just have to take Preston with me, who was at preschool that morning.  When I got to the temple, there was no wait at all to do initiatories and so I was out of the temple by 10:15 (normally it is 11:00 or so).  It was awesome since I was able to stop at the store on my way home and avoid having to drag Preston with me later that day.  I think it was Heavenly Father's way of blessing me with such a tiny miracle so I could still get stuff done.  It was a good day!
