Pictures are worth a Thousand Words!

Sometimes I have random pictures that don't have a story or explanation, but they are cute so I want to share!  Kaylee and I have discovered we LOVE the sweet potato fries from Rumbi!  So anytime we are out shopping and need a snack, that is where we wend up!

Preston wearing a swim cap...I have no idea why. haha!
Kaylee's hair is so pretty when it is curled!
Alivia gets awards when she passes off skills at tumbling!!
Carson was able to attend an FFA competition at Snow College!
My cute kiddos before school one day!

Hello October!!!!

It was crazy to think that October had come so fast!  I got to celebrate my cute friend Stacia's 40th birthday with a fun 80's party!  It was General Conference weekend, so of course we made conference cakes on Sunday.  My first batch of dough didn't rise and so I made a second batch for the cakes.  I used the first batch to make cinnamon rolls and they turned out amazing!!!!

Took a few pictures of my cute kiddos, including Preston with a new hair cut and Alivia at her ortho appt. I also got to sub for one of the music teachers! It was a lot of fun!

Preston has made a good new friend named Roarke and he lives just a few blocks away.  They get along so well!!  I love that they are in the same class at school.
And check out the progress on the shop!  We have cement walls!!!

Cute kids!

Gosh we have cute kids!  I took these pictures before school of Alivia to show how long her hair is getting!  It is fun when we can do it straight!  Preston is loving his typewriter and Alivia's retainer broke, so they put in some permanent retainers, which is kind of awesome since she doesn't have a retainer to worry about anymore!

I don't think I had posted pictures, but Carson wrecked his truck on September 16th after school on his way to work.  He rear ended a truck that had stopped at a cross walk.  I guess that is how you learn!  It bent the frame on his truck and so Nick and Carson have a new project truck they are going to build using the good parts left over on Crush.
Kaylee and I got to go see the Scarlett Pimpernel at Centerpointe Theatre since Nick couldn't go.  Love our girl nights out!
More soccer, work on the truck and bike park to finish the weekend!

Present Time for Preston!

Preston opened his presents after school and got some new nintendo games, soccer ball and his most favorite gift, a real old fashioned typewriter!  He was so excited about that!  After presents, we had dinner at Panda with Grandpa Brower.  We made it an early dinner since I had choir that night.  Nick took the little kids to a movie after dinner.  Overall, I think he had a successful birthday and we are so grateful that he is part of our family!  We sure love this cute kid!!!

Happy 9th Birthday Preston!

Preston turned 9 on September 28th!  He was so excited for his birthday and we had a lot of fun celebrating it!  He was up early and excited to go to school!  Nick came home for lunch so we could take him a subway sandwich for his lunch at school.  (See next post for the after school celebrations)

Progress, Dance, Movies and Recording Studio!

Update on our shop project!  It is slowly making progress.  We finally got all the excavation done and footings poured, but then we had a little snag when the crew putting the walls up decided it was too big of a job for them, so they left and we scrambled to find a new crew, which we did.
Kaylee and Joshua started lessons with Mathew to create some syllabus routines for this year's dance competitions.  That has been a lot of fun!!!
I can't remember exactly, but for some reason Nick had the little kids so I took the older kids to go and see Dear Evan Hansen at the movies.  It was a lot of fun!!!  We loved it and it was fun to spend time with just the two of them.

We also took the Vocal Motion students into the recording studio, which was the first of many times this semester.  We love making music videos and the recording studio is a really fun part of it!  Preston is in Vocal Motion this year, so he really liked it!
