Window Shopping

We took the kids up to see the flag in Coldwater Canyon on Veteren's Day before they took it down the next day.  Then we took the kids to walmart to give us some ideas for Christmas Gifts.  It was kinda fun!  We just took pictures of what they wanted and we didn't spend a dime!

Kaylee also started shaving!  Haha...I know this is probably good to post on our blog.  But I love this picture of her and how well she handled learning how to shave.  She is so awesome!
Carson cooked us dinner one night in the instapot and Preston was even a good helper by setting the table.  I love that my kids are getting more independent and helpful around the house.  It does help a ton!!!

AND....Carson sold the most popcorn for his school's fundraiser and won a Nintendo Switch.  (He sold over $1400!!!).  I was so proud of him!  He did it all almost by himself and worked super hard knocking on doors and talking to everyone he knows.  He earned it 100%!
And November was full of more music!  Lots of lunch rehearsals, dance classes, recording sessions and more.  But we loved every minute of it!  I know even though it makes life crazy, that music is what I am supposed to be doing!  It makes me so happy and totally worth the crazy it brings!

Costumes, Recording Session and Game Night

We had our Performance Academy Recording session on Wednesday Nov 6th and we were able to hand out the costumes that day.  They are so cute!  The recording went great and I was so proud of my students!  On Friday, we went to Julie & Bear Ackerman's house in Clinton for a fun game night.  It is always fun to catch up with friends from high school!
On a side note...I love seeing the little notes that my kids leave on my white board in my office.  Isn't that cute!!??

November is Here!

Kaylee and I got last minute tickets to Mama Mia at Weber High!  It was so fun and they did a great job!  I love this cute girl.  She has so much music in her soul and she is so sweet and giving.  She works hard and wants to always be her best.  I just love that about her.  I just know she is going to go far!!

Sunday after church, we enjoyed the warmer weather and smashed pumpkins with the McConkies and Jeppsons.

On Tuesday, Nov 5th, I was able to hike up Coldwater Canyon with friends to see "The Major" fly again this year.  It is such an amazing sight and the weather was great and the company was even better.

Red Ribbon Week!

The week of Halloween was Red Ribbon Week!  So that included crazy hair and crazy sock day!  I love and hate this day....so fun, but requires a lot of extra work on my part.  Haha!  But the kids loved it!

That evening we were able to help the McConkies carve their pumpkins, and even do a few of ours!

The next morning, Kaylee had a weird mark on her face and I realized it came from her hand that she had drawn on the day before.   She is so silly!

Halloween 2019

Halloween was so much fun this year!  Even though it isn't my favorite Holiday, it really was a blast and I really enjoyed it!  We found a cute monster costume at Kid to Kid for Alivia, Kaylee borrowed a football costume from my mom, and Preston had a few costume changes during the day, but used an astronaut costume we had in our costume box and the blow up ballerina during the parade at school.  He insisted he wear it!  I was able to watch the costume parade with my cute mom friends and then help in Preston's class at his Halloween party.  Then after school we hit Lee's for a little trick or treating before heading to Bowden's for the annual pizza party.  Then group trick or treating!  We LOVE living here and having the coolest friends!  We ended the night at the Campbell's house hanging with more friends!  It was awesome!  Too bad we had school the next day!  But we survived!  Totally worth it!
