Busy Weeks!

Performance Academy is going well and we are just getting ready for up coming performances!  The girls are so fun and I am so blessed to get to teach them.  I love having my own girls in my classes!

On Wednesday, March 29th, we got a few of us girls from the ward for a temple trip.  It was so nice to go and spend time with friends.  We stopped at Freddy's for ice cream on our way home.  It was great and we hope to be able to do it often!
Speech for Preston on Thursday, he is doing so well and we are getting that lisp a little bit under control.  We love Mrs. Vause!  She is great with both Preston and Alivia!
After speech, we headed to McDonald's in Syracuse for lunch with Dawn, Disney and Rachel and kids.  It is always so fun to catch up with them!

Friday Night, Kaylee and I went to the play "Beauty & The Beast" at Orion Jr. High to see a few of our friends and students.  Emma, Jocinda and Kymberly were all in it.  Jocinda played Mrs. Potts and did a fantastic job!  Alivia is loving the piano and is working hard on two recital songs right now.

6th Grade Dance!

Carson had his 6th grade dance on Friday, March 24th.  It was a beautiful day and we enjoyed having Nick home from work.  I went and caught the last 45  minutes of the dance to take some pictures.  He had a blast and it looked like all of the kids did too!  It was a 50's themed dance and they did a lot of different kinds of dancing and each took a turn dancing with someone different.

Saturday, was rainy and cold for Alivia's soccer game.  But she still had fun!

After the game, we met up with my mom to see Beauty and the Beast at Walker's in North Ogden.  It was so good!
Nick got the laundry room finished and some shelving put up around the washer and dryer.  I love the new laundry room and it has been so nice to use!
Carson got spotlighted that Sunday in Primary.  He is such a cutie!  And a fast runner!  On Monday after school, we had noticed our neighbors garage door had been left open, so I called them and had Carson push the button to close it and make a run for it without tripping the sensor.  It was pretty funny!

Gem State 2017

On Thursday, March 23, we went to choir in the morning at 7:30 and then took everyone to Gem State Ballroom in Idaho Falls.  It was a fun reason to skip school that day and the kids didn't mind!  Stephen Hales tagged along with us and they all did such a good job.  It was a long day of syllabus.  They did 5 different dances and had different partners for each one.  Carson ended up dancing with two girls from Idaho teams that didn't have a partner.  Which worked well, since Weber Ballroom had more boys than girls to dance with.  Carson ended up winning a 6th place ribbon for the Paso with one of the girls!  It was a hard competition since there were SO many dancers.  They always made it to the semi-final rounds before being cut, so I was so proud of them!

It was also fun to spend time with my sister and our cousins!  A perk of attending a competition in Idaho!!  We sure missed Austin dancing this year, but he is serving the people of San Diego on a mission, so that is more important!

We had dinner at Panda before making the 2 1/2 hour trip back home.  Yum!!!

Random Pictures

Here are just a few random pictures from March.  Preston was the only one willing to smile at Alivia's 6 year wellness visit, pictures from Preston's St. Patrick's Day at preschool, and some hardworking boys doing yardwork and scouting for food.

"Step in Time!"

We had a fun night celebrating Alivia's birthday with Grandma!  We did dinner at Rumbi and saw the play "Mary Poppins" at the Centerpointe Theater in Centerville.  It was a great girls night out and the play was wonderful!!!  We all loved it!

By the time we got home Alivia was zonked out!  She had such a fun and full day!  I think that is how Birthday's are supposed to be though!
