Super Bowl & National Pizza Day

We had a fun Sunday after Kaylee was baptized.  She was presented in Sacrament Meeting and we did a fun "Primary Bowl" singing time for primary since it was the Super Bowl that day.  After church we went to the Jeppson's to watch the game and eat yummy food!  We were having so much fun I forgot to take a picture!

The following Monday, we had an early day with an Ortho appt for Carson.  I had to take breakfast to go, and my shake was perfect for that!

Preston has been working on his winking and has gotten it down pretty good!
Tuesday we had a busy day with Talking time, school, dance and national pizza day!  So of course, we had pizza for dinner!  Homemade bbq pork (still using all the leftover pork from Kaylee's Baptism) and ham & cheese.

The after party!

Kaylee has so many wonderful people in her life right now!  She has a wonderful primary teacher, Linda Scoville,  She was Carson's teacher last year and he loved her!  She always has the greatest lessons and handouts.  She is wonderful!  She has wonderful friends, grandparents, and family that support her and encourage her in all she does.  She is a spunky little girl with a big heart!

We loved how the cake turned out!  It looked just like her dress!

We had a handful of people over for dinner (bbq pork sandwiches and hot dogs).  We stuck the kids in the mud room on the bench with a table.  It worked perfectly!

It was such a fun evening!!!

Kaylee's Big Day!

The day had finally come!  On February 6th, Kaylee was baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.  She was radiant that day and I loved seeing her so happy!  We had so many family and friends there to share this special day with her.

Our ward happened to be in charge of the program for the 4 o'clock session and since I am primary chorister, I got to pick the songs and the musical number.  The musical number has to be someone not related to any of the candidates, or it has to include all the candidates.  So after some phone calls to the moms, we were able to put together a fun musical number using Baptism and When I am Baptized.  The two songs go perfect together and we sang it as a duet and it was wonderful!  (Nick took this picture when we were running through the song before the baptism).  It was so fun having three cute girls in the session.  It couldn't have worked out better!  The moms were great and the girls were adorable!  She was baptized with Sophie Sparrow and Ruby Hancock.  Ruby is in Kaylee's class at school.  They are cute girls!

Kaylee was the last one to be baptized in our session so we stayed in the RS room.  It was such a great afternoon and Nick did a great job baptizing her (he held her in the water extra long just to make sure she was nice and clean!).  We invited everyone over for dinner after the baptism and had a great evening celebrating Kaylee!

Kaylee's Baptism Pictures

It was such a crazy time during the holidays and so I didn't really start thinking about Kaylee's birthday and baptism until the beginning of January.  I was a little panicked on what to do for her pictures, but I decided we would have the wonderful Cheri Buys (she did our family pictures last year) take them for us!  She did so great and it was so fun to take Kaylee down to temple square and have them taken.  Kaylee loved every minute of her photo shoot, and was amazing even though she was freezing!!!!  We are thrilled with how they turned out and I was able to get an invitation put together and in the mail in time for her baptism!
