Brower Easter Fun!

After the Egg hunt on Saturday morning, we had lunch and headed up to Tremonton to spend time with my side of the family.  Marisa and Tiffany were both there with some of their kids so we knew it would be a fun time!  They wasted no time finding Grandmas costumes and entertained themselves for a bit!

We enjoyed visiting with everyone, having an easter egg hunt, playing bingo, and making and eating lots of yummy food!  Then we sang Happy Birthday to Grandma!

It was fun to have Cooper and Alivia together!  They are getting to such a fun age!  They loved the trampoline the most though, they both were laughing and smiling when the kids would bounce them, it was so funny!

This is Grandma's apron she got with all of the grandkids handprints on it.  It says "Hands Down Worlds Best Grandma!"  I think she liked it!

We got to see Grandma and Grandpa Edstrom before we left for home, and it was fun visiting with them too!  It was a fun way to spend our Saturday!

Easter Egg Hunt

On Saturday morning, we headed over to the elementary school for the annual Easter Egg Hunt put on by the Woods Cross Youth Council.  They not only do an egg hunt, but they have crafts for the kids, games, and they get to see the Easter Bunny.  Here are some pictures from our fun morning!

We have gone to this egg hunt for the past 3 or so years and every time it turns out to be a blast.  We were a little concerned since there was still some snow on the grass, but luckily the parking lot didn't have snow on it so it worked great for the egg hunt area.  It's crazy to think we have celebrated Easter and the kids only have less than two months of school left!  Summer will be here before you know it....even if it is still snowing!

Crazy Friday!

We had a super fun week off from school and enjoyed our spring break.  Once we got home from Holden on Tuesday, we took Alivia into the Dr's and she had an ear infection, just like Kaylee, so we got her started on medicine too, but it didn't slow us down.  On Wednesday, the girls and I went to Hogan park and had a picnic lunch and played.  Then that night, our whole family enjoyed Little Cesar's Pizza at the fire station park in Bountiful.  We totally enjoyed the warm weather.  Too bad it didn't last very long.  By Friday, we woke up to a few inches of snow!  The kids were happy about it though.  We had already put all of their winter clothes away in the garage, so I had to pull out the tote so I could find their snow suits and gloves and let them go out and play.  They had a blast!!!  They played really well together too.  

After Nick got home from work, I left to meet up with my Mom and Marisa to do some shopping in Ogden for my Mom's birthday.  Then we met up with Matt & Nat for dinner at Applebee's o celebrate her Birthday too.  Nick had a fun evening with the kids and took them to Carl's Jr for dinner and then some shopping at Walmart, and I heard they had a blast!  When I got home, just before the kids went to bed, Carson was complaining about his bottom tooth hurting.  It has been a little lose for awhile, but finally Nick wiggled it and it just came out!  So he lost his 2nd tooth!!  

The tooth fairy came and visited him and left him a $2 bill.  He was happy about it and he no longer had a tooth bothering him!  It was quite a crazy and busy Friday!

Cove Fort

While we were in Holden, we thought it would be fun to take the kids to Cove Fort since it isn't very far away.  I had never been there and neither had the kids.  It was a sunny day, but it was very cold and windy so it was a little unpleasant that way, but overall we had a good time.  It is a very historical place and I could just imagine the people back in the 1800's using the fort as we toured the grounds.  It made me very thankful for the modern amenities that we get to use every day.  Sister White was our tour guide.  She was great and super nice to us!

At the end of the tour they had the Book of Mormon displayed in different languages.  We found the one in Portuguese since that is what Uncle Chris speaks on his mission.  We are going to send him a picture of it.  They also gave the kids a sharing toy that has Cove Fort written on it to keep.  We can't wait to go back when it is warmer so we can tour more of the outside of the fort.  If you ever have an extra hour on your way down to Southern Utah, definitely stop and visit Cove Fort!
