Crazy Wind Storm!

We had the craziest wind storm a few weeks ago.  On a Tuesday morning we woke up to some pretty crazy wind.  The news warned us about it and so we got most of our things on our patio put inside.  However, I did have to chase the bbq cover down and pull it inside since it blew off the bbq.  I drove Kaylee to the bus stop, but then by the time they got to school, they cancelled classes since they didn't have power, so they brought her back home.  So we had a fun "wind" day.  Once the wind died down later, we went out and saw the damage around the city and Carson was able to go and start helping clean up the downed trees.  I also dropped Kaylee off to the peach orchard to help finish picking the rest of the peaches that were left on the tree, before the wind could make any more fall off.  It was cool to see so many families there to help!  The other thing that was so funny to see, was the porta-potty from across the street blow down the road.  Haha!  The city spent the next few days cleaning up the trees and had a temporary green waste site by the stake center that ended being SO big!  It was kind of impressive and amazing to see all the service during such a crazy storm and with the damage.  This city is amazing!
