Fire Drill!

On Friday, Sept 11th, we had just left the house to take the kids bowling.  On the way I had called Natalie to see if she was going to join us.  Matt was out of town until the next night and we had planned on going together.  She said she couldn't because she was still up at the house they are building doing some cleaning that needed to get done that day.  After I got off the phone with her, I had a quick conversation with the kids and all but Alivia agreed we should go and help Natalie instead of go bowling.  So we turned around, stopped at the house to get better work clothes and shoes and headed up to Huntsville to help Natalie and her sister.  Poor Livy cried for a while about wanting to go bowling.  But once we go there and she was able to play with all the kids while we worked, she was just fine.  We got it all cleaned up before it got dark and it was a good activity for us to do together!

The next morning, while Nick was at work, the kids helped move the leftover pile of rock into the backyard for me.  They used the wagon and got it all moved.  It was hard work but they had fun doing it.
After that, I took the kids to Natalie's house and we did some swimming.  It was a ward day so even though it was September, it was a great day to swim!

Before bed that night, Kaylee had pulled out another tooth of hers.  I think that is 4 teeth over the whole summer!  The tooth fairy has been busy visiting our house!  On Sunday, we had a fun surprise of a fire drill during Primary.  We had been practicing for the primary program and with about 40 minutes to go, the alarm went off.  We reverently left the building and waited outside for about 15 minutes before being able to go back in.  It was quite exciting and the kids did great!  We even sang songs and kept running lines while we waited.  I have never been at church when the alarm went off, so it was a first for a lot of us!

After church and a quick lunch, we headed to Tremonton to get some more stuff and 2 of the 4wheelers.  We also needed our deep freezer that was still there.  We had found some cookie dough while we were there and enjoyed a little snack!  With one more trip we took this past week, I think we finally have all of our stuff out of my parents house!  (Besides our patio furniture and our lawn mower, but we have no where to put them right now!)
