Over this past summer, our kids have become really good friends with our neighbors. Kalie and Ashlynn. Kalie is the same age as Carson and is also in third grade and Ashlynn is Kaylee's age and also in Kindergarten. They get along great and I have also become good friends with their mom, Erin. This past Saturday, we had the chance to participate in the American Heart Association Walk. It was held at Sugar House Park and we walked on the team "Kalie's Krew". Kalie has been through two open heart surgeries in the past and is doing great. We wanted to show our support and love for her along with all the other people who are dealing with heart and stroke issues. It was such a fun morning! We all wore our "Kalie's Krew" tshirts. We got there about 8:30 and the walk started at 9. We did two laps around the park that was about 3 miles total. It was so fun, especially for the kids who got to run through the chalk part. It was a mess but the kids loved it! Here are some pictures from our day!
