Last Wednesday, June 20th, my little brother Chris came home from his mission in Brazil. We have been so excited and have been anticipating his arrival for quite a while now! The kids were excited to make a sign for him to hold at the Airport. (The green one is theirs and they painted it all themselves, besides the heart that I did). Not only were were excited to Chris, but also all of our cousins and aunts and uncles too. It was one big reunion!
We had a bit of time to wait before his plane finally landed and he got to the baggage claim, but when he did, it was so exciting and it was so great to see him!
We spent a bit of time talking and just hugging and smiling and just enjoying the time at the airport. We finally got his bags and headed back to our house for a lasagna dinner. We also had corn on the cob and HOT rolls (his request). It was nice.
They didn't stay too long since they had an appt with the Stake President to have him released. But we had time for a few stories about his mission, including when he was robbed at gun point, and of course, he didn't email us about that, probably to spare my mom! Haha! We also gave Gpa Brower his Father's day card a few days late since we didn't get to see him until then. He liked it!
Kaylee made a new friend, one of Chris's good friends Zach. Too bad for her he is getting married really soon! He was so cute with her and Carson. He will make a good dad someday! Chris will too! It was so fun to see him and see him with the kids. He is so much fun and we can't wait to spend even more time with him!
