Saturday, we packed up and left just after lunchtime. We stopped at Nick's cousin, Paige's baby shower and dropped off some receiving blanket presents. She is having twin girls! So fun! When we got to SLC it was rainy and we had just missed out on a pretty good downpour of rain and hail in Ogden. Later that night it was snowing!! SO crazy!! We woke up to white stuff all over the grass the next morning!
Haha...Preston will take a nap almost every week in Sacrament meeting. Normally he lays on my lap, but this time I was coloring a flip chart and he was leaned up against me and just fell asleep. I think it is so cute!
Monday we were back to our normal routine of school and music! The kids go to school early every day of the week. Mondays & Wednesdays they have Orchestra, Tues & Thurs, they have choir and Fridays is either Handbell Choir or Honor Choir. They love it and only complain once in awhile for having to get up early. I am thrilled that they like music so much!!
Monday, we also made an emergency visit to the Orthodontist for a sore in Carson's mouth being caused by his permanent retainer he has. They got it adjusted and he is doing great now! We had Lilly with us, and her and Preston entertained themselves by talking into the fan like Darth Vader!
We had dancing, ballroom, cello and Carson even got paid to mow a neighbors lawn!
Thursday, we managed a sunny but still chilly trip to the park. That afternoon Alivia had soccer practice, but it was cut short because it was so windy! Friday, the kids didn't have school for teacher Comp Day, but Preston did have a field trip to the movies to see Smurfs. Nick was able to go with him and they had a blast.
Finally, violin lessons that afternoon before heading out for a night of fun!!!
