What a weekend!

On Friday evening, after a busy day, we headed down to Holden to play for the weekend. We picked up Taylor and Chase on our way down and when we got their around 8:30, Jerid and his family was there! We ate yummy food and got started on bottling chicken. We didn't get done with the chicken until around 11, but it went by so fast with so many helping hands! Here is a picture from that evening.....I love when all the kids are together!!!
The next day we just hung out at the house, played in the hot tub (that was filled that morning, so it started out at 65 degrees...brrrrr....) and enjoyed the swings!
Can you tell the water was a little chilly!!!! The kids were a little cold, but it didn't stop them from enjoying it!

When they got too cold, they got out and ran through the cold sprinkler....
After Kaylee got up from her nap she got on her suit, but didn't do too much swimming....she preferred the swing.
After the boys (the brothers....Nick, Jerid, and Ryan) were done playing in the pleasure dome, we all headed up to the cabin to have dinner and enjoy the campfire. Here is Kaylee in the back of Papa's truck. She thought it was so fun!!
While we were waiting for our dinner, we had a visitor by our campfire....this HUGE spider....freaky!!!
But of course, the kids loved it!!!! Uncle Ryan explained that this spider was a good spider because it ate all the insects that eat the crops. So it was a good spider and no harm was done to it!
Kaylee enjoyed her food, and especially the orange soda! The weather was a little cool, but felt great after such a warm day! It sprinkled a little, but didn't really rain on us. But from the field and cabin, we could look clear across the valley and see the many isolated rain storms pouring from the skies!
This was the cutest thing....Kaylee loves the old swing set, and so she found Papa Bear and took him by the had to lead him toward the swingset to let her play! It was so precious, I had to grab my camera and take a picture!
After we got home from the cabin, I gave my kids a bath and got them ready for bed. Then while Chase was taking his bath, Carson decided he needed to go potty. After awhile I realized that he had been in there awhile, so I peeked in to see what was going on....to find this....
A tea party on the toilet and in the tub!!!! I am sure someday Carson will appreciate this picture!!
On Sunday morning we attending the Temple Dedication in Fillmore. It was wonderful! After we got back, we decided Kaylee's hair in the back, needed a little trim. So since Karen has her own shop, I asked her if she could just trim it up for me before we left. Here is Carson enjoying the shop as usual....scribbling with the paper and pens Grandma has in there.
Kaylee wasn't too sure of this idea of sitting in such a big chair and getting her hair trimmed. I was surprised how grumpy she was about the whole thing.
But we got it done!! Thanks Grandma Karen!

Carson enjoyed this BIG BOY swing all weekend.

It was a fun filled weekend and the kids just love it down there!!!!
