Halloween!

We had some friends over Saturday night for some games and treats.  The Braeggers have become good friends of ours since Kaylee and their daughter, Brighten, are good friends.  We get along well and have a lot in common.  We really enjoy them!

Sunday after church, we finally got our pumpkins carved in preparation for Halloween on Monday.

Monday was a fun day!  The kids had a costume parade that morning!  We have been giving one of Alivia's friends a ride to school since her mom has been out of town.  Her name is Reese and her grandma is Kaylee's primary teacher, Linda, and we just adore their whole family.  I was able to stay long enough at the parade to see Alivia, but had to leave after that for a root canal appointment.  Horrible, I know!

The horrible wasn't too bad and it made it so my tooth doesn't bother me any more.  The worst part was being numb the whole morning.  But it helped me to not eat as much candy!
After school, we took the kids to Lee's for a fun Trick or Treating around the store.
We had dinner at the Bowden's house like we did last year and then headed out for Trick or Treating.  Kaylee went trick or treating with a friend and so did Carson after we did a bit of it with the younger kids.  With the older kids with friends, we enjoyed the night passing out candy with the little kids.

We had a great Halloween and ended up with more than our fair share of candy!
