We got up a little before 5 so we could be to the starting line at 5:45. The race started at 6 and Krissy was our first runner. She did great getting us off on a great start!
Dawn was our 2nd runner followed by Kimberly.
Then Rachel was #4 and then it was my turn as #5.
After my run, Disney finished it off at #6 before we each took another turn! We stopped for a quick picture before Disney's first run.
We ran into Cindy at one of the exchanges. She was on our team last year! It was fun to see her!
It was also a lot of fun spending some time with Krissy. She was amazing and such a hoot! She was willing to be silly with us, push herself hard running, and helped cheer everyone on. She ran so hard on her 2nd run that she had a little bit of a throw up episode at the end. She took it all in stride and was just such an amazing teammate!
My second leg was my hardest. It wasn't too long, but it was mostly all uphill. I was so proud of myself, since my goal was to run the whole thing and I did it!
We came in to the finish line about 5 minutes faster than we did the year before! It was so awesome!
We were by far the best dressed team up there! We looked amazing in our cool tutus that Kimberly had made for us. It was seriously one of the funnest weekends! We finished the night at Dawn's house with some pizza. I hope we get to do it again!
